GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 309093
Renaming the "Yahtzeee" score slot?
Last modified: 2005-07-10 02:21:32 UTC
So, I'm working on Bug #307984 and wondering why we should even bother using possibly trademark-encumbered "Yahtzee" label rather than a simple, straightforward, translatable, and just plain nice "Five of a Kind" label.
I'm not exceptionally keen on five of a kind. It is meant to seem special, not just another score slot (although we could bold it I suppose). By the way, I've already fixed 307984, sorry (no, this doesn't mean I'm back home. It means I have a desk, a fast internet connection and an afternoon where it is too hot to go outside).
I've changed Yahtzee to "5 of a Kind". I'm still not incredibly happy the new name, but I can't think of anything better and Yahtzee is trademarked and we should respect that.
