GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 309018
CTRL++ doesn't zoom
Last modified: 2005-09-17 18:24:24 UTC
Version details: 2.10.0 Distribution/Version: FC4 In my nautilus window, pressing CTRL and + or CTRL and - has no effect on zooming. Tested with both list view and icon view. However, the menu option View->Zoom [in/out] works just fine. Running nautilus 2.10.0, from Fedora Core 4, although I am unsure how long this bug has been here. If it has any relevancy here, I am running a Swedish keyboard layout.
that works fine here with nautilus 2.11
Ctrl+ and Ctrl- seem to work on the actual keyboard, but not on the numeric keypad. This is with Ubuntu Hoary, Nautilus 2.10.0 and a Finnish keyboard layout.
Thanks for your bug report!
Created attachment 48537 [details] [review] Proposed patch (against HEAD). I've also posted the patch under [1]. [1] http://mail.gnome.org/archives/nautilus-list/2005-July/msg00011.html
I can confirm that this is infact also what I was seeing. Somehow I hadn't thought of testing the + and - on the non-numeric part of the keyboard. Thanks for the clarification, Teppo, and for the quick patch, Christian!
Created attachment 48542 [details] [review] Proposed patch #2 (against HEAD). I overlooked that ctrl-0 is already bound to 100% zoom.
Sorry for the confusion. The 2nd patch is for another issue, the first patch is correct and has been committed. The next Nautilus 2.11 release will zoom correctly. Thanks for you efforts.
