Evan: What all accounts you have configured ? Whats the evolution version you
are using ?

I believe I have identified the problem and have been able to work around it;
when using encrypted password authentication it crashes repeatedly.  Upon
changing it to plain-text, it seems to work just fine.  Evolution 2.2.2 the
standard distro released with Fedora Core 4.
