Last modified: 2005-06-19 12:22:20 UTC
Distribution: Fedora Core release 4 (Stentz) Package: nautilus Severity: normal Version: GNOME2.10.0 2.10.0 Gnome-Distributor: Red Hat, Inc Synopsis: "-[!" and hebrew mix causes nautilus to crash when copying Bugzilla-Product: nautilus Bugzilla-Component: general Bugzilla-Version: 2.10.0 BugBuddy-GnomeVersion: 2.0 (2.10.0) Description: Description of the crash: I have found some characteristics of files mixed with hebrew which will cause nautilus to crash when copying them to another directory. I've tried my best to find out exactly what it is and it seems to be a combination of characters. Check additional information Steps to reproduce the crash: 1. Open up a hebrew directory and then an english file with characters such as ".-_'"(check additional details I have the filenames which cause this) 2. Copy this file to another directory 3. Crash Expected Results: Will crash %100 if the right file is selected. I cant seem to nail down exactly what it is How often does this happen? %100 Additional Information: example of filenames which will always cause crash regardless of directory: לירז.צ'רכי.-.הדיסק.החדש.192KBPS.[MuZikFaw.WarezFaw.Com].rar english filenames within hebrew directory which cause crash: /mnt/linux/MediaPub/Recorded tv/חדר מלחמה/war .[26.2.05].-.TvRiP.XviD.(TVMAN).[www.warezfaw.com].avi /mnt/linux/windowsback/MediaPub/Misc multimedia/israeliwarez/קומדי סטור/Comedy.Store.26.7.2004.TVRiP.XviD.Israeli.[L!oNetwork.Net].avi Debugging Information: Backtrace was generated from '/usr/bin/nautilus' (no debugging symbols found) Using host libthread_db library "/lib/libthread_db.so.1".
