gstreamer, unlike every other library in jhbuild, installs to $PREFIX/lib. 
Everything looks for the .pc in $PREFIX/lib64, including gst-plugins.  This
causes the gst-plugins configure to fail.

As a workaround, symlinking $PREFIX/lib to $PREFIX/lib64 before installing
gstreamer does the trick.
