Steps to reproduce:
Under Windows NT 4.0, when I scroll down a file list in the file-open-dialogue,
GIMP aborts with the following error message:
Pango-Error**: File shape.c:line 75 (pango_shape): assertion failed
(glyphs->num_glyphs>0) aborting ...

Stack trace:

This has probably been reported more than hundred times. Unless some Win32 users
sits down and fixes the problem, this will continue to happen (with a broken
font setup). See bug #301139 and bug #304702.
