Description Steve Baker 2005-06-13 06:57:29 UTC
Distribution/Version: Fedora Core 3

When ripping a disc each track takes a very long time. The track progress bar
goes from 0-100% at normal speed then stays at 100% for a long time. The album
progress bar jumps all over the place.

When the extract is finally complete then the result is 1 file per track, but
each file contains *every* track in the disc as a single audio file.

I have 2 PCs running FC3 but only one of them is showing this problem. The
problem PC has 2 CD-ROM drives and both show the issue.

Can you provide a GST pipeline which might reproduce this problem on my machine?

This happened with both OGG and MP3 ripping.
Comment 2 Ross Burton 2005-06-13 07:33:22 UTC
I predict that you are using gstreamer-plugins 0.8.9, so this is a duplicate
(it's a fixed gstreamer bug). Reverting to 0.8.8 until .10 is released is a
good idea.

If this is not the cause for you, please re-open.
