GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 307040
Crash while pasting text
Last modified: 2005-06-11 13:23:04 UTC
Distribution: Fedora Core release 3 (Heidelberg) Package: Evolution Severity: normal Version: GNOME2.8.0 unspecified Gnome-Distributor: Red Hat, Inc Synopsis: Crash while pasting text Bugzilla-Product: Evolution Bugzilla-Component: Mailer Bugzilla-Version: unspecified BugBuddy-GnomeVersion: 2.0 (2.8.0) Description: Description of the crash: Evolution crashed while pasting text into a new reply. The text had been copied from a previous reply that I had closed without sending. Steps to reproduce the crash: Evolution seems to be hung until I completed this Bug Buddy report, so it's kind hard for me to say if I can reproduce it. But here's what I did just previous to the crash: 1. While reading a mailing-list message, I hit "Reply". 2. I started to forumlate a reply, deleting some of the quoted text and typing a few sentences at the top. 3. Realizing that I had deleted too much quoted text, I selected the text I had typed at the top, hit control-x, and then closed the partial reply. 4. I hit reply again and hit control-v to paste my text into the top of the new message. Expected Results: I expected the text to appear at the top of my new reply. How often does this happen? First time. Debugging Information: Backtrace was generated from '/usr/bin/evolution' (no debugging symbols found)...Using host libthread_db library "/lib/tls/libthread_db.so.1".
