Description Poornima 2005-06-09 13:28:43 UTC
Selected 3 to 4 mails, then deleted. As 'removeitem request' is sent when folder
refreshes, i clicked on 'Send/Recive' which refreshes folder. After few seconds
I i saw getitemrequest response in terminal. Then wait for few minutes if
'removeItem request' will be sent, it did not happened for long time. Closed
evolution , there i observe the 'removeItem' request is sent.
This kind of behaviour will give a picture to the user that evolution hangs
while exiting.

There is nothing much that can be done about it. evolution syncs up with the
server when exiting and depending on the number of mails and the network latency
it would take so much time. Not sure what to do about this though

Probably showing status of sync'ing and displaying a dialog might help informing
the user that its not actually frozen but its synching before exiting.

Setting target to 2.5

We had a dialog in 1.4 not sure why it was removed.
I guess its only groupwise when it takes a lot of time, do you see a lot of
delay in IMAP also?
