Description gemi 2005-06-08 11:28:22 UTC
Please describe the problem:
When typing text with the text tool, the font size changes erratically, i.e.,
typing a few characters, font size is correct, but then, typing a few more, it
suddenly changes to a smaller size, then again to normal size (i.e., the whole
line changes size). It seems, however, that this happens only in zoom settings
other than 100%.

Using:
Fedora Core 3
with
freetype-2.1.9-1
fontconfig-2.2.3-5
gtk2-2.4.14-3.fc3
pango-1.6.0-7

Does this happen every time?

If I recall correctly there were some known rendering glitches as Zoom levels
other than 100 % but they may have been fixed in CVS so I'll try and check to
see if there are any duplicates reports.

Sounds exactly like those problems. Marking as duplicate. Frequently reported.
