Description rincewind 2005-06-07 13:06:28 UTC
Please describe the problem:
When I go offline and try to open an unread mail (in a folder marked for offline
operation) I get:

Error while retrieving message
<long string presumably identifying the message>
This message is not available in offline mode.

The message is then marked as read. When I go back online, the unread count for
the folder is still what it was (i.e. if I had two unread mails it still says
(2) ), but the messages it couldn't retrieve are still marked as 'read'.

Steps to reproduce:
Set a folder to 'Copy folder content locally for offline operation' (Groupwise
backend), then go offline. Double-clicking an already read mail pops the mail up
fine, but double-clicking on an unread mail give the message reported about

Actual results:
I get a dialog box:
Error while retrieving message
<long string presumably identifying the message>
This message is not available in offline mode.

Expected results:
The mail is displayed

Does this happen every time?
yes
