Distribution: SuSE Linux 9.2 (i586)
Package: file-roller
Severity: normal
Version: GNOME2.6. 2.6.1
Gnome-Distributor: SUSE
Synopsis: File extracter crashes when creating folder (to extract archive into) within prog
Bugzilla-Product: file-roller
Bugzilla-Component: general
Bugzilla-Version: 2.6.1
BugBuddy-GnomeVersion: 2.0 (2.6.0)
Description:
Description of the crash: The file extraction utility crashes when going
to create directory one wants all stuff extracted too

Steps to reproduce the crash:
1. Go to website, and select a tar.gz file for download
2. On the options (from within Fire Fox at least) select open (and use
default app
3. Browse to a parent folder where one wants it saved, and select the
option "Create Folder"
4. Type in the name, and left click around there to get it to save name
prior to trying to go into new folder.

Expected Results: The folder would be created, and available to browse
into for pruposes of extracting the archive in there

How often does this happen? Every time I've tried.
