If you start Epiphany from a shell, and go to
http://dreadnought.hadiko.de:8080/, are there any other warnings printed
_before_ the crash?

Which Epiphany version do you have, exactly? If it is 1.6.2, please upgrade to
1.6.3 (or downgrade to 1.6.1).

Well ok, it was 1.6.2, the version supplied within gnome 2.10.1
I had not extra checked whether another newer release was available.
1.6.3 does fine,
