GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 306215
Evolution crashed after importing a task.ics
Last modified: 2006-05-11 08:53:45 UTC
Steps to reproduce: 1. Imported a task.ics file attached in bug 303641 into local 'Personal' folder 2. Went to task view, after sometime evolution crashed. 3. Therafter evolution crashes always. I have installed latest evolution build from evolution-development-snapshot. Stack trace: Backtrace was generated from '/opt/gnome/bin/evolution' Using host libthread_db library "/lib/tls/libthread_db.so.1". `system-supplied DSO at 0xffffe000' has disappeared; keeping its symbols. i am not entirely sure that this is a duplicate of bug 270844, as the stacktraces are at least a bit different. i'm not an expert in this so i may be pretty wrong. i can reproduce this crash here with evolution cvs head from two days before. i i convert an email with several attachments to a task. i go to tasks view, click this task, and evolution becomes very unresponsive (for a minute perhaps? this computer got 1.5GHz). after that, double-click to edit the task. after again becomes unresponsive and finally crashes. $:andre\> gdb /opt/evo-cvs/bin/evolution-2.6 GNU gdb 6.3 Copyright 2004 Free Software Foundation, Inc.
