Please describe the problem:
I was doing a calculation in Basic Mode, for doing some scientific
operation, i changed the mode from basic to scientific. the display value
changed to zero, that means lost the previous data.

Steps to reproduce:
1. Open Calc
2. Do some operation in Basic mode, (keep the result on the display)
3. Change to Scientific mode , View->scientific mode

Actual results:
Display value changed to zero

Expected results:
Want to keep the previous value

Does this happen every time?
