GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 305772
legacy menus not merged with new ones
Last modified: 2005-06-01 23:38:37 UTC
Please describe the problem: If you have a legacy menu in /usr/share/gnome/Windows_Applications/ (crossover desktop) and create a menu in applications.menu with <Name>Windows_Applications</Name> the two should be merged into one menu for display. Right now you end up with a 'Windows Applications' menu and a 'Windows_Applications' menu. This appears to only happen if the legacy menu's display name has a space in it. Steps to reproduce: 1. Install CrossOver Office (or something else that has a legacy menu) 2. Create a menu in applications.menu with <Name>Windows_Applications</Menu> Actual results: Two menus are displayed. Expected results: One merged menu should be displayed. Does this happen every time? Yes. Other information:
