Woody: Thanks for taking the time to report this bug. This bug report isn't very useful because it doesn't describe the bug well. If you have time and can still reproduce the bug, please read http://bugzilla.gnome.org/bug-HOWTO.html and add a more useful description to this bug.

Looks like a bug in gtk+, reassigning. Evolution *and* gedit seem to be affected. Unfortunately, that stack trace is not very useful in determining the cause of the crash. Can you get us one with debugging symbols? Please see http://live. gnome.org/GettingTraces for more information on how to do so.

Hi! I'm using Fedora Core 4 and Evolution 2.2.2: rpm -q evolution evolution-debuginfo evolution-2.2.2-5 evolution-debuginfo-2.2.2-5 I hope this debugging info is any better: Backtrace was generated from '/usr/bin/evolution' Using host libthread_db library "/lib/libthread_db.so.1". Unfortunately, that stack trace is not very useful in determining the cause of the crash. Can you get us one with debugging symbols? Please see http://live. gnome.org/GettingTraces for more information on how to do so.
Can any of you reproduce this with the latest version, or is the error gone? Please, anyone, give us some feedback. Thank you.
What fixes/tests have you done?
*** Bug 325658 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. ***
to make any progress here, we need a stacktrace with symbols for glib and gtk, preferably 2.8.x

Can you get us a trace with debugging symbols? Please see http://live. gnome.org/GettingTraces for more information on how to do so.
