Description edwardsa 2005-05-20 20:27:52 UTC
Distribution: Debian 3.1
Package: gnome-pilot
Severity: major
Version: 2.0.12
Synopsis: gpuilotd crashes systematically when trying to back up Img-photo file
Bugzilla-Product: gnome-pilot
Bugzilla-Component: capplet
Bugzilla-Version: 2.0.12
BugBuddy-GnomeVersion: 2.0 (2.8.1)
Description:
Description of the crash:
During a hot-sync operation all synchronizations succeed until Img-photo
starts the back-up at which point I receive the gpilotd has quit
unexpectedly message. I should point out that this pilot had been
completely reste and I was attempting to rebuild data by synching it to
the data on the debian pc (2.6.6 kernel running Debian GNU/Linux 3.1
(testing)).

Steps to reproduce the crash:
1. set up the pilot with the /dev/pilot usb io device
2. start hot-sync on the pilot
3.

Expected Results:
All files synched.

How often does this happen?
Every time

Additional Information:
subsequent attempts to sync fail until I remove the pilot applet from
the control panel.

Debugging Information:

Backtrace was generated from '/usr/bin/gpilotd'
