GNOME version: 2.9/2.10

Description Stanislav Brabec 2005-05-16 11:10:01 UTC
Distribution/Version: SuSE Linux 9.3 AMD64

How to repeat:

1. Get many mails (say 1000 mails marked unread).
2. Have a lot of filter rules.
3. Select all mails, press Ctrl+y (Apply filters).
4. While mailer is filtering, clicking to one of new mails.

Actual behavior: Mail is not displayed. Even after filtering is finished, mail
is not displayed.

Expected result: Mail is displayed.

How often it happens: Every time, if there are enough mails.

Work-around: Click to another mail and back to original.

hmm, this is a duplicate of another bug, it's almost certainly the selection one.

select 'n' mails', the message display goes blank, then click on the last one
selected (the cursor, the one with dotted lines around it), the message display
remains blank.

Hi Stanislav,
if you have time, could you please check again whether this issue still happens in Evolution 3.2.3 or 3.0.3 and update this report by adding a comment and changing the "Version" field and provide information about your distribution? Thanks a lot.

This should work at least with imap+

Please feel free to reopen the bug if the problem still occurs with a newer
version of Evolution 3.2.3 or 3.4.1 or later, thanks.
