When selecting the speed of burning from the "Write speed:" dialog, there is a
huge white stripe that goes all the way to the top of the screen. It should not
be there.

This is gtk+'s fault, not nautilus-cd-burner. Please file a bug against gtk+ if
you want something to be done at the gtk+ level.
