GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 303460
Clicking open-parent button shortens status bar text space
Last modified: 2005-05-08 11:51:49 UTC
Please describe the problem: Opening and closing the parent folders menu by clicking the button on the bottom left of an file object window and closing it again by clicking the name of the current folder, makes Nautilus think there is less space available for printing text in the status bar than there is. Steps to reproduce: 1. Open a folder in spatial mode 2. Make the window small and select a file with a long filename 3. click the open-parent button twice so that the menu opens and closes Actual results: The status bar text gets shortened. Where before it said ``"a long file name" is selected'', there now is ``"a long file name" is...''. Opening and closing the menu again gets you ``"a long file name"...'' and so on until no text is shown at all. Expected results: Does this happen every time? Yes Other information:
