Description Joel Parker 2005-05-02 17:58:55 UTC
I would like to see support for 7zip (.7z) archives. It's a free, open source
format, and it compresses better than anything I've seen. The Linux binary is
called p7zip.

The maintainer has forseen your request and implemented this beforehand.

Thanks for the bug report. This particular bug has already been reported into
our bug tracking system, but please feel free to report any further bugs you find.

As an aside, I click "Search" at the bottom, type "7z" into the box, select
"file-roller" in the Product box, and hit search, and I get no entries. Why
doesn't that bug show up?
Comment 3 Olav Vitters 2005-05-03 15:59:44 UTC
I think it only searches for open bugs by default. You can change it if you
click the advanced button. When we upgrade to a newer Bugzilla it'll have a
easier searchpage (allowing you to easily choose between open/closed/all).. this
will take a while. Suggestions can be made at
http://live.gnome.org/BugzillaUpgrade (no promises that something will be
implemented).
