Description Jose Alberto 2005-04-30 17:54:13 UTC
http://gallery.sf.net is close to the gallery 2.0 release and a lot of people is
using it now. So the export method is different from gallery1

Adds support for Gallery2

Here is a patch to add Gallery2 support to F-Spot. It also contains the
patches for bugs http://bugs.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=321507 (separate account
handling from GalleryExport) and http://bugs.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=320821
(by Ruben Vermeersch which adds support for adding a new album on export)

I'm seeing a problem with one of my G1 galleries (v1.5.1), but it has some
problems so if other 1.5 users could test it and let me know that would be
great.	Other than that I think everything is working fine.

Thanks go to Chad Files for helping me test.

Same as gallery2.patch, but reverts back to the old way of fetching albums for G1

Here is a small update to the previous patch. It reverts to use fetch-albums
instead of fetch-albums-prune for G1. They claim fetch-albums-prune is
implemented more efficiently on the server so I was hoping to use it, but its
better not to break existing setups.

For whatever reason my 1.5.1 gallery returns child albums before parents, which
breaks the parsing. 1.4.3 doesn't do it and neither does G2. I haven't found
anyone with version 1.5 to see if they have the same problem. The gains don't
really seem worth it so I'm suggesting for now we stickt with fetch-albums for
G1 and we can reevaluate later if necessary.

Oh, and both patches should be applied from inside the src dir.

this is in CVS now right ben? Closing, reopen if it isn't.

For the record, this patch went in around version 1.5.
