Description Philip Mateescu 2005-04-29 17:00:21 UTC
Version details: GTK+ v2.6.7
Distribution/Version: XP SP2

I'm attempting to save a new image and I'm browsing to a folder on the C: drive.
The folder is c:\projects\kimp\img.
When opening the kimp folder, GIMP crashes with the following error:

Pango-ERROR **: file shape.c: line 75 (pango_shape): assertion failed:
(glyphs->num_glyphs>0) aborting...

Navigating to the above folder to open an image yields no error. It only happens
when trying to save. Every time.

This problem has been reported many times already. The suggested workaround,
until we figure out a solution, is to change your GIMP theme from "default" in
"small" in the Preferences -- other people have reported that this stops the
crashes.
