It would be nice with a plugin for scaling down images when sending them as 
attachments. Usually the images from my camera is about 1.3 MB and I need to 
open Gimp or some other program to scale them down. It would be very practical 
to do this directly from Evolution.

Thanks for taking the time to report this issue. Apparently this particular feature request is also known as bug 256932, which I stumpled across by accident... :)
