GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 302245
gnome-settings-daemon keybindings ignore Window-key bindings
Last modified: 2005-06-10 10:50:42 UTC
Please describe the problem: Binding a shortcut key using the Window key (Mod4) in the sequence for settings managed by the settings-daemon results in the shortcut being ignored. Example, binding Window-L to Lock Screen will successfully bind, and store, but the key sequence does nothing. Change binding to something not using Window keys, and it will work fine. Steps to reproduce: 1. Bind Lock Screen to Window-L 2. Press Window-L Actual results: Nothing Expected results: xscreensaver/screen locking Does this happen every time? Yes Other information: RedHat bug filed: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=139167 Possibly related: http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=171142 Gentoo thread: http://forums.gentoo.org/viewtopic-p-2357563.html
