Description Joe Barnett 2005-04-26 01:35:52 UTC
Please describe the problem:
I've received a recurring meeting invitation, and attempted to add it to my
calendar. Evo doesn't give any error messages, but when I check my calendar,
the meeting is not there. Most other invitations have no problems.

Steps to reproduce:
1.
2.
3.

Actual results:

Expected results:

Does this happen every time?

Other information:
I can forward the invitation email privately, but would prefer not to attach it
here. Let me know who to send it to.

You can mail me the email to asarfraaz@novell.com

Also, see if you can get any E2K_DEBUG traces from exchange while performing
this operation. Also, check that you have selected the exchange calendar in the
meeting invitation when you are accepting it. The procedure for getting the
E2K_DEBUG traces is at http://www.gnome.org/projects/evolution/bugs.shtml
Comment 2 Joe Barnett 2005-04-26 16:47:33 UTC
here are E2K_DEBUG messages:

when I attempt to accept the inviation:

... doesn't seem to be terribly informative. I'll forward you the email now,
let me know if you don't get it reasonably soon.
Comment 3 Joe Barnett 2005-04-26 16:49:51 UTC
one other thing to mention is that I use filters to move all my exchange emails
into a separate IMAP account, and then try to accept invitations from there.
Not sure if that is relevant though, since most invitations work fine, and this
one doesn't work if I move it back into the exchange account inbox, either.
Comment 4 Joe Barnett 2005-05-17 17:41:28 UTC
did you get the invitation? (just wanted to make sure the mail went through)
Comment 5 Krishnan R 2005-07-31 14:48:49 UTC
Poornima, please replicate this and confirm this bug.

Comment 6 Krishnan R 2005-08-13 10:48:56 UTC
marking this for 2.5. We probably need to to re-look at the design of
recurrence appointments.
Comment 7 Poornima 2005-11-29 10:29:32 UTC
Marking this bug as 'New' as it is reproducible with 'Joe Barnett's ics file.
Comment 8 Chenthill P 2006-03-01 18:37:46 UTC
Have sent a patch for the bug 273057 which might fix this also.
Comment 9 Chenthill P 2006-03-08 06:55:50 UTC
This has been fixed now.
