Description Reinout van Schouwen 2005-04-25 17:35:03 UTC
A smart bookmark entry on the toolbar should use autocompletion.
This would improve usefulness of smart bookmarks on the toolbar for often
recurring queries.

One thing to consider is: how to delete smb query history?

I don't like search entries auto complete because people see what I look for on the web :).

/me evil and nasty.

But seriously, there should be a way to deactivate this and (future) autocompletion on forms and stuff like that. Or maybe a right click option called "Forget history of this entry".
Comment 4 Diego Escalante Urrelo (not reading bugmail) 2012-03-02 17:03:35 UTC
There are no smart bookmark entries in the toolbar anymore.

No, but there are still smart bookmarks that you can enter in the location bar!
How about keeping a history of search terms there?

I think it's enough to keep a history of visited pages, right?

Nowadays I think it would come down to implementing autosuggest: https://duck.co/help/features/autosuggest

Ah OK, that sounds better indeed.
