Description Heikki Kantola 2005-04-23 23:29:58 UTC
Totem is smart enough that if you run "totem <files>" while there is an existing
instance of totem running, that the running program is re-used, but occasionally
wish that such command would not wipe out the existing playlist and replace the
contents with the files in the command argument. If the behaviour was to append
files to the playlist, it would be easier to play again the file(s) which were
on the playlist before you ran the totem command again.

Heikki, if you're running totem on the command-line, you should use "totem
--append <files>" if you want to append files to the playlist.

Nice to hear there is such option already. But I would still prefer if that
the append would be the default behaviour as most often I call totem from other
programs (web browsers, file managers etc.) and configuring all the filetype
prefs to include that option can be at least tedious if not even impossible...
