Description Sebastien Bacher 2005-04-16 10:35:09 UTC
This bug has been opened here: https://bugzilla.ubuntu.com/9777

"Since I often use Windows or even KDM which allows similar behavior, I often
habitually press TAB after typing in the user name.

In GDM it actualy inserts a TAB character into the user name, which looks like a
long space.

also, I end up seeing UsernameTABPassword in the user name bar, which is bad
because it reveals my password to anyone who is looking."

This is already fixed in CVS head.
