Description Dutra de Lacerda 2005-04-16 02:13:46 UTC
Distribution/Version: ME

Windows 98ME, GaIM installed.
Install GnuMeric 1.4.3 rc3
Call it.

Result: No cells visible.
The previous version 1.4.2 displayed the cells but failed to show buttons.
Now (v1.4.3) the buttons are displayed but not the cells.

Just send the file to my e-mail box.
Will answer ASAP.

Do you mean that some sheet is not loaded right?
A screenshot would be nice.

ok, that looks impressively bad!

Ivan, ideas? Perhaps this is the new canvas stuff that might not work
with 98ME.
Comment 5 Ivan Wong 2005-04-17 16:06:24 UTC
This is still the big window problem. I tested with vmware (with win98
installed) and it seems that the big window simulation still doesn't work on
win98 because of a weird clipping problem. I hope I can fix that before my
vmware (trial version) expires.

Unfortunetely, we do not believe we will be able to fix this. The reason is that the GTK+ toolkit does not support Win9x, and that is not likely to change in the future.
