try to open .jpg image on hard disk created from digital camera. file meny,
open: browse and double click on image... following error message comes up: 

GIMP MESSAGE:
Plug-In crashed: "jpeg.exe"
(C:\Program Files\GIMP-2.0\lib\gimp\2.0\plug-ins\jpeg.exe)

The dying Plug-In may have messed up GIMP's internal state. You may want to save
your images and restart GIMP to be on the safe side.

GIMP MESSAGE:
Opening 'C:\Documents and Settings\...\PICT0002.JPG' failed:

Plug-In could not open image


PS: some other .jpg images copied from the internet could be opened with no problem?
