Description James 2005-04-09 23:26:28 UTC
When I make an ssh connection, it would be nice to edit the files on the file,
much like I would do locally. If that is not possible, it would be nice to have
an option to edit the file, which waits until the file has been changed and then
uploads the file (like ftp clients do).

This would make it a lot easier for web developers, etc.

editing on vfs shares is an app feature. Copying the file localy is discussed by
#42265 already. I'm not sure on how could work an edit/upload. How do you get a
lock on the distant file? How nautilus can know than an app has edited the file
to upload it?

You're right Sebastien, this is a dup.
