Description jhaar 2005-04-09 06:27:11 UTC
Distribution: Fedora Core release 3 (Heidelberg)
Package: Evolution
Priority: Normal
Version: GNOME2.8.0 unspecified
Gnome-Distributor: Red Hat, Inc
Synopsis: WebDAV doesn't support https URLS
Bugzilla-Product: Evolution
Bugzilla-Component: Calendar
Bugzilla-Version: unspecified
Description:
Description of Problem:
I was wanting to "add a new calendar" and the moment I typed "https" in
the URL field, the "Add Calendar" button was greyed out - like it wasn't
supported. Changing it to "http" made the "Add" button come back

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. New Calendar
2. Choose "On the Web"
3. Type https: into the URL field and watch the "Add Calendar" button
grey out

Actual Results:

Couldn't add https-based WebDAV URL

Expected Results:

Should have been able to

How often does this happen?

Always

Additional Information:

Evolution supports IMAPS - so it should support LDAPS, HTTPS, etc.
Shouldn't it?
