GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 274328
sign with pgp textbox not translated
Last modified: 2013-09-13 00:48:53 UTC
This bug has been opened here: https://bugzilla.ubuntu.com/8508 "If you choose "sign with pgp", the first phrase in the following textbox (give PW) ist not translated (into German), maybe in other languages. It says: You need a passphrase to unlock the key for user: in English."
adding dependency
it's translated in german in 2.3.8 #: ../camel/camel-gpg-context.c:786 #, c-format msgid "" "You need a passphrase to unlock the key for\n" "user: \"%s\"" msgstr "" "Für das Entsperren des Schlüssels für den\n" "Benutzer %s ist ein Passwort erforderlich." however, "_Remember this password for the remainder of the session" is not translated here - in the de.po file of e-d-s it is translated (../libedataserverui/e-passwords.c:472).
why not fixing it for GNOME 2.12?
sebastien: yeah, right :-) comment #2: it's the same in french, so i guess it's an evo bug and not a translator's fault.
This file (e-passwords.c) has been moved from evolution/e-utils/ to here (../libedataserverui/e-passwords.c) I see the string has been marked for translation and file has an entry in POTFILES.in (thats why its translated in de), guess, translations for other languages have not been updated properly, varified that evo makes it a point to mark it for translation.
Andre, Having verified it, can we close the bug ?
hmm... it's still not translated here in evo-2.4.0 in german (de). :-/
at least punting from 2.3 to 2.5. :-/
still in 2.4 and 2.5, reopening
i still see this in evo2.5.91cvs.
funny ones. compiled from cvs, started 2.5.91 and now it seems to be always translated (checked for all gpg cases). seems this has been fixed recently by varadhan: http://cvs.gnome.org/viewcvs/evolution-data-server/libedataserverui/e-passwords.c?r1=1.30&r2=1.31.
