Evolution toolbar breakes when being detached
Last modified: 2005-07-29 09:04:46 UTC
The "new" button in Evolution's toolbar breaks when the toolbar is being detached. After beeing detached, the toolbar handle becomes useless, you can't click it anymore. To get the toolbar back you need to hit enter, the you can restore it with switching components. See also the attached screenshots. Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. Detach the toolbar by dragging its handle to empty space 2. See the results 3. Press enter to reattach it 4. Switch components to restore layout Actual Results: The toolbar breaks Expected Results: Floating toolbar How often does this happen? always

"After beeing detached, the toolbar handle becomes useless, you can't click it anymore. To get the toolbar back you need to hit enter, the you can restore it with switching components." The same problem exists with every toolbar. I tested it with gedit and glade.
Not an evo bug. Moving to bonobo.
what version of libbonoboui do you have installed ? I believe gnome-2.10 was supposed to fix a number of these sort of things wrt. the toolbar. Federico knows what's going on there I believe.
