Description Michael Meeks 2005-03-30 14:40:18 UTC
Go into the calendar month view,
[ preferably populate the calendar with data so you don't see the day
numbers so prominently ].

Click 'Today' - notice that:
  * This doesn't move the cursor to / focus today
  * the 'today' item itself is far too light / difficult to discern; (with
Industrial), it should be some bold font / dark color surely.
  * 'Today' isn't centered; if today is the 30'th this Month heads up the
display - but 'today' is 5 rows down in the middle - not obvious; it'd be
nice if it was more central vertically.

What about at *least* fixing the first part immediately?

"Go to today" is useless. It does *not* go to today. It's really sad that this
bug still is valid in 2.4.

The cursor moves to today. It is bolded. Im not sure about the third part.

The rest is in cvs head.
Comment 5 André Klapper 2006-02-25 14:40:06 UTC
first part is fixed; second part is covered by one or two other bug reports (too lazy to search, *cough*), third part is minor. this is evo2.5.91.

therefore removing 2.4.3 milestone.
Comment 6 André Klapper 2006-06-01 12:35:38 UTC
reassigning bugs that were previously assigned to Dinesh Layek
Comment 7 Matthew Barnes 2008-03-11 00:26:54 UTC
Bumping version to a stable release.
Comment 8 Milan Crha 2009-07-28 12:03:11 UTC
We have Today drawn with a different background, the light yellow, (in 2.27.5) that should work fine I hope. And centering Today in a month view? From my point of view it's slightly strange, as for me is easier to know where the month starts and where it ends. I do not know, maybe I'm just not using it enough.

Ideas?

Michael, ping, any thoughts ?
Did you get a chance to try out 2.28.x where today has been highlighted in yellow color.
Comment 10 Michael Meeks 2010-02-11 14:27:22 UTC
I'm happy with the result.
Thanks guys :-)
