Cannot authenticate
Last modified: 2006-11-29 19:14:22 UTC
Trying to create standard Exchange account. Cannot pass the "Authenticate" state. The Outlook Web interface works perfectly ok. Setting E2K_DEBUG=2, I see this: GET /ieexchange HTTP/1.1 E2k-Debug: 0x99d4aa8 @ 1112092121 Host: intranet.watchmark.com Accept-Language: en-US, en Authorization: NTLM TlRMTVNTUAABAAAABoIAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAMAAAAAAAAAAwAAAA User-Agent: Evolution/2.2.1 401 Access Denied E2k-Debug: 0x99d4aa8 @ 1112092122 Date: Tue, 29 Mar 2005 10:28:44 GMT Server: Microsoft-IIS/5.0 Connection: close Content-Length: 24 Content-Type: text/html GET /ieexchange HTTP/1.1 E2k-Debug: 0x9a3b980 @ 1112092122 Host: intranet.watchmark.com Accept-Language: en-US, en User-Agent: Evolution/2.2.1 401 Access Denied E2k-Debug: 0x9a3b980 @ 1112092123 Date: Tue, 29 Mar 2005 10:28:44 GMT Server: Microsoft-IIS/5.0 WWW-Authenticate: Basic realm="intranet.watchmark.com" Connection: close Content-Length: 24 Content-Type: text/html GET /ieexchange HTTP/1.1 E2k-Debug: 0x9a3b980 @ 1112092123 [restarted] Host: intranet.watchmark.com Accept-Language: en-US, en User-Agent: Evolution/2.2.1 302 Moved Temporarily E2k-Debug: 0x9a3b980 @ 1112092128 Date: Tue, 29 Mar 2005 10:28:49 GMT Location: https://intranet.watchmark.com/ieexchange/ Server: Microsoft-IIS/5.0 Content-Length: 165 Content-Type: text/html GET /ieexchange/ HTTP/1.1 E2k-Debug: 0x9a50590 @ 1112092128 Host: intranet.watchmark.com Accept-Language: en-US, en Authorization: NTLM TlRMTVNTUAABAAAABoIAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAMAAAAAAAAAAwAAAA User-Agent: Evolution/2.2.1 401 Access Denied E2k-Debug: 0x9a50590 @ 1112092128 Date: Tue, 29 Mar 2005 10:28:50 GMT Server: Microsoft-IIS/5.0 Connection: close Content-Length: 24 Content-Type: text/html GET /ieexchange/ HTTP/1.1 E2k-Debug: 0x9a518e8 @ 1112092129 Host: intranet.watchmark.com Accept-Language: en-US, en User-Agent: Evolution/2.2.1 401 Access Denied E2k-Debug: 0x9a518e8 @ 1112092129 Date: Tue, 29 Mar 2005 10:28:50 GMT Server: Microsoft-IIS/5.0 WWW-Authenticate: Basic realm="intranet.watchmark.com" Connection: close Content-Length: 24 Content-Type: text/html GET /ieexchange/ HTTP/1.1 E2k-Debug: 0x9a518e8 @ 1112092129 [restarted] Host: intranet.watchmark.com Accept-Language: en-US, en User-Agent: Evolution/2.2.1 200 OK E2k-Debug: 0x9a518e8 @ 1112092134 MS-WebStorage: 6.0.6249 Set-Cookie: sessionid=d23dbae3-e130-4ed7-9a9a-1d2c7a2957a7,0x409; path=/ieexchange/ Date: Tue, 29 Mar 2005 10:28:55 GMT Server: Microsoft-IIS/5.0 Cache-Control: no-cache Content-Length: 1041 Content-Type: text/html GET /ieexchange//?Cmd=contents HTTP/1.1 E2k-Debug: 0x9a518e8 @ 1112092134 Host: intranet.watchmark.com User-Agent: Evolution/2.2.1 200 OK E2k-Debug: 0x9a518e8 @ 1112092135 MS-WebStorage: 6.0.6249 Set-Cookie: sessionid=4ebdbb85-708e-41ec-8cf5-90fadc4be2af,0x0; path=/ieexchange/ Date: Tue, 29 Mar 2005 10:28:56 GMT Server: Microsoft-IIS/5.0 Transfer-Encoding: chunked Cache-Control: no-cache Content-Type: text/html BPROPFIND /ieexchange/sergey.udaltsov/ HTTP/1.1 E2k-Debug: 0x9a2f840 @ 1112092135 Host: intranet.watchmark.com Depth: 0 Brief: t User-Agent: Evolution/2.2.1 Content-Type: text/xml 401 Unauthorized E2k-Debug: 0x9a2f840 @ 1112092136 Date: Tue, 29 Mar 2005 10:28:58 GMT Server: Microsoft-IIS/5.0 Connection: close WWW-Authenticate: Basic realm="intranet.watchmark.com" WWW-Authenticate: NTLM WWW-Authenticate: Negotiate Content-Length: 24 Content-Type: text/html BPROPFIND /ieexchange/sergey.udaltsov/ HTTP/1.1 E2k-Debug: 0x9a2f840 @ 1112092136 [restarted] Host: intranet.watchmark.com Depth: 0 Brief: t User-Agent: Evolution/2.2.1 Content-Type: text/xml 207 Multi-Status E2k-Debug: 0x9a2f840 @ 1112092138 MS-WebStorage: 6.0.6249 Date: Tue, 29 Mar 2005 10:29:00 GMT Accept-Ranges: rows Server: Microsoft-IIS/5.0 Transfer-Encoding: chunked Content-Type: text/xml
Please try the next version, that should have fix for this problem.
Took the RPM evolution-exchange-2.2.1-1.1.fc3.nr - same story (with evolution-2.2.1.1-1.1.fc3.nr)
What is the error message you get try to authenticate? Your user name and mailbox path are the same or different? (From the traces I can see that your owa_path is /ieexchange and your mailbox name is sergey.udaltsov ) What is your user name? If they are different try giving owa url as https://intranet.watchmark.com/ieexchange/sergey.udaltsov ?
my username is different (IE-WATCHMARK\sudaltso). I tried using OWA you advised - still no luck. The error is: -------------- Could not authenticate to the Exchange server. Make sure the username and password are correct and try again. You may need to specify the Windows domain name as part of your username (eg, "MY-DOMAIN\sergey.udaltsov"). ---------------
Sergey, is this still an issue for you?
