could you please explain more exactly which parts you talk of? do you only refer to the mailer, do you refer to open mails in the composer or stored ones (or just *everything*), which desktop do you use (gnome, kde)? thanks, and please reopen... :-)
I'm talking about every messages that I try to get text from (any message).
works fine for me
I think that this may be the same as http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=308621 . That bug apparently does not happen anymore in the devel builds, so perhaps this one should be closed too.
are you talking about the popup window? it needs to stay around until you've pasted, since evolution isn't using the new api's for cut and paste which support a persistent clipboard.
No I'm not talking about the popup window. Only the messages (didn't tried with the popup window).
hmm, still no idea what you mean. please explain what steps you're using. e.g. try 1: select text in a displayed message goto another window press the middle mouse button in a text area. try 2: select text in a displayed message select the edit menu, select 'copy' go to another window select 'paste' from it's menus these always work fine for me.
