GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 273437
new appointment strings ...
Last modified: 2013-09-13 01:00:52 UTC
Create a new appointment, don't set a title, set a recurrence You get a dialog that says "Send" in it - and - well, it looks like it's a meeting request message not a local appointment msg.
adding dependency
adding string keyword
it's in calendar/calendar.error.xml: <error id="prompt-send-no-subject-calendar"><_primary>Are you sure you want to send the appointment without a summary?</_primary> same with tasks, i guess: <error id="prompt-send-no-subject-task"><_primary>Are you sure you want to send the task without a summary?</_primary> so do we need additional code calling another error id for "normal" appointments/tasks and calling this one here for meetings/tasks where other persons are involved?
Yes, I feel we need to have different error codes and error strings for appointments and meeting requests. Something like, "Are you sure you want to save the appointment without a summary? Adding a meaningful summary to your appointment will give you an idea of what your appointment is about."
sush, so can this please be fixed in the next weeks to have this in 2.6? tia
easy fix, can be listed in the bugs for nexr UI/string hackfest planned.
