GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 272376
Detachable toolbar functions incorrectly
Last modified: 2005-08-10 06:32:58 UTC
Distribution: Debian 3.1 Package: Evolution Priority: Normal Version: GNOME2.8.1 unspecified Gnome-Distributor: Debian Synopsis: Detachable toolbar functions incorrectly Bugzilla-Product: Evolution Bugzilla-Component: UI Bugzilla-Version: unspecified Description: Description of Problem: If the toolbar is detached from evolution, the spacing between the buttons becomes sigificantly larger than they were before, and cannot be reset to their initial width (even when reattached). I have found no way to reset the toolbar to the default. Also, if you "drop" the toolbar, outside of Evolution, it can no longer be picked up and moved again. As long as the toolbar remains "held", it can be placed back into Evolution, or moved about. Letting go of it results in it being immovable. Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. Drag the toolbar anywhere 2. Express awe as the width of buttons is magically changed 3. Express frustration when it cannot be changed back :-( Actual Results: The button width of the toolbar is increased irrevocably. Expected Results: The button width of the toolbar remains static. How often does this happen? Every time. Additional Information: Unknown reporter: stephen@touset.org, changed to bugbuddy-import@ximian.com. Setting qa contact to the default for this product. This bug either had no qa contact or an invalid one.
