Distribution: Slackware Slackware 10.0.0
Package: Evolution
Priority: Normal
Version: GNOME2.6.2 2.1.2
Gnome-Distributor: GNOME.Org
Synopsis: Contacts could use additional fields
Bugzilla-Product: Evolution
Bugzilla-Component: Contacts [was: Addressbook]
Bugzilla-Version: 2.1.2
Description:
Please describe your feature request:

I would like to suggest a few additions to the Contacts Module to
enhance its usability.

1) Add a section for Crypto where users can select their contact crypto
preferences. Whether or not they want PGP or S/MiMe, etc.
2) Add fields to store their PGP Key or Certificate
3) Add preference checkboxes for how the user wishes to receive mail.
Whether or not he wants always signed messages, always encrypted
messages or none of the above.
4) Add a section for GEO so that the user's location can be GPSed.
5) Add a section for a company or personal logo as well as the photo.
6) Add a section for an audio clip so that a user can attach a clip with
proper pronunciation.
7) Allow these fields to be Exported when the Save as VCard option is
selected.

All these conform to the VCard 3,x standards and will enhance
Evolution's usability and acceptance.

Regards
