I'm not sure I get your point. I have vFolders which sort on source
account and vFolders that mix more than one account. When I hit Reply,
it always selects the right account in the Reply from (and you can
always choose the account at the moment of replying).
Comment 2 David Cary Hart 2004-11-22 14:37:26 UTC
Not with aliases and IMAP. Think in terms of personalities in contrast
to accounts.

For example, system addresses (postmaster, abuse, etc.) are aliased to
root which is aliased to me. I have an abuse account in Evolution for
outgoing only (so that I can address mail "from: abuse@").

There is no folder or filter mechanism (common in many other email
clients - kmail, mahogany, eudora) to change the account. Absent that,
a reply to email addressed to any of the system aliases will, by
default, be sent from the default account. While easy to change at
send time (from the drop down) it's just as easy to forget.

adding keywords.
Comment 4 Not Zed 2005-02-22 04:18:51 UTC
sounds like a duplicate of the 'per-folder default account settings' bug.
Comment 5 Matthew Barnes 2008-03-11 00:29:08 UTC
Bumping version to a stable release.
