Description Tessa Lau 2004-11-10 15:16:33 UTC
Distribution: Debian 3.1
Package: Evolution
Priority: Normal
Version: GNOME2.8.0 2.0.2
Gnome-Distributor: Debian
Synopsis: Window title in 2.0.2 no longer displays count of unread messages
Bugzilla-Product: Evolution
Bugzilla-Component: UI
Bugzilla-Version: 2.0.2
Description:
Evo 1.4 used to change the window title to ". (2) - Ximian Evolution"
when there were 2 unread messages in my inbox. When combined with the
GNOME taskbar, it enables one to see at-a-glance whether any new
messages have come in, even if Evolution is iconified.

Evo 2.0.x no longer changes the titlebar to reflect the current folder,
which means that it's difficult to tell when new messages have arrived.
I couldn't find any way to re-enable this functionality in the
preferences. Why did it go away?
