Description P Rauser 2004-09-30 16:19:06 UTC
Description of Problem:

S/MIME certificate selector does not permit use of
 certificates stored on a PKCS#15 smartcard &
available through the OpenSC interface. OpenSC
support is available in certificate management
function of, e.g., Mozilla 1.7.x and Firefox 1.0PR.

Steps to reproduce the problem:

1) Insert PKCS#15 smartcard in reader.

2) Choose "Certificates" option from Evo Settings
menu.

3) No certificates on smartcard are offered for
use in S/MIME encryption.

Actual Results:

See above.

Expected (desired) Results:

Smartcard-hosted certificates are available for
use in Evo.

How often does this happen?

Always.
