GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 266150
In list view Delete option not working in menu and toolbar
Last modified: 2013-09-13 00:58:08 UTC
Please fill in this template when reporting a bug, unless you know what you are doing. Description of Problem: while viewing the appointments in listview, I can delete an appointment after selecting it and using delete option in right-click pop-up menu. But the Delete icon in toolbar and Delete option in Edit menu are disabled. Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. 2. 3. Actual Results: Expected Results: How often does this happen? Additional Information:
they are not disabled anymore in evolution-2.0.2.0.200412060900-0.snap.ximian.10.1, but they simple do not work!!! nothing happens after clicking delete... sorry, have to set a milestone for this, and it isn't minor anymore.
The sooner, the better. THis is 2.0.x stuff
again, the icon in toolbar and delete option in edit menu are disabled now in 2.3.5.1 as described by the original reporter.
Adding ui keyword.
this is still buggy in 2.4.0, retargetting this from 2.2.x to 2.4.1 (i'd prefer 2.4.x in this case).
still in 2.5.2, so retargetting this to 2.4.3 since 2.4.1 is long gone
icons disabled in evo2.5.91, pressing ctrl+d after clicking at a summary of an appointment only removes one character from the summary. only chance to delete an appointment at all is to use the context menu. evolution 2.5.91. anything happening here?
still valid in 2.7.1 retargetting; adding srini to cc. currently, the only chance to delete an appointment is using the context menu.
harmonizing target milestones, sorry for the noise. (2.6.x -> 2.6)

still in 2.7.92, retargetting
Bumping version to a stable release.

0) Still valid in 2.25.2. I guess it's OK to set this bug to that version. (Or should it be set to 2.24? Please overrule in that case.) 1) Note that the confusing "sensitive but useless" state of the toolbar icon and the menu item I described in bug #550032 also still can be triggered.
Somehow managed to set this from ASSIGNED to NEEDINFO. Target version is useless now too. Please feel free to set those (and other) settings to something more sensible.
Confirming in 2.25.2.
Created commit 6ed8ba1 in evo master (2.27.5+) ETable blocked the focus-in event, thus the calendar thought there is nothing focused.
