GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 264238
Start/end ranges for a text line are wrong when the cursor is at the end of the line
Last modified: 2005-01-26 09:20:55 UTC
Description of Problem: If AccessibleText_getTextAtOffset is called with SPI_TEXT_BOUNDARY_LINE_START and caret is at the end of the line (after the last character), the start/end positions are wrong. This problem is not present when the cursor is inside the line, not at the end. In this case, the ranges for the current line are correctly reported. How often does this happen? Allways. This is cause of bug: http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=149784.
gtkhtml handles all this
The corresponding bugzilla.gnome/gnopernicus bug that was closed as NOTGNOME http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=149784 was marked "AP2" in the status whiteboard field, i.e. "High Priority" for accessibility. How do we reflect/track that here in bugzilla.ximian.com ?
