Description of the crash:
I am loading another gnome-session with VNC and the alarm-notifier dies
on the main console (:0)

Steps to reproduce the crash:
1. Install VNC server, change the last line of xstartup from twm to
"exec gnome-session"
2. start server on startup, reboot
3. watch for the error

Expected Results:
Both consoles should be able to have the alarm notifier
