GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 262773
HTML Forms do not submit from the email
Last modified: 2005-08-16 14:59:51 UTC
Distribution: Slackware Slackware 9.1.0 Package: Evolution Priority: Normal Version: GNOME2.6.1 1.5.91 Gnome-Distributor: Dropline Systems Synopsis: HTML Forms do not submit from the email Bugzilla-Product: Evolution Bugzilla-Component: Mailer Bugzilla-Version: 1.5.91 Description: Description of Problem: After filling out a form, in this case from LiveJournal.com, in an email and clicking Submit, nothing happens. Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. Recieve email containing a reply to a journal entry 2. Fill out the reply text area box at the bottom of the LJ email and click Submit 3. Actual Results: Nothing happens. Expected Results: Open up my preferred web browser and submit the form results to LJ's website. How often does this happen? Everytime Additional Information: Looking at the source code in Evolution, it appears that there are '3D' inserted before every equal sign for the attribute/value pairs. For example, the code for the beginning of the form looks like this: <form method=3D'post' target=3D'ljreply' action=3D"http://www.l= ivejournal.com/talkpost_do.bml">. I am unsure if this is just something from viewing the source, or if it's how Evolution is reading the email source. If I view the source of the same type of email in Outlook, the code looks correct.
