Description Chris Rodgers 2004-04-01 18:35:17 UTC
Please fill in this template when reporting a bug, unless you know what you
are doing.
Description of Problem:
Evolution leaves processes running. These mess up my ability to log in/out
using gdm.

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. Log in using gdm on RedHat 9.0 and the Ximian desktop
2. Start Evolution
3. Exit Evolution
4. Use the "Logout" option on the Ximian menu

Actual Results:
Evolution leaves behind a couple of processes, which means that on the next
gdm login my .bash_profile script doesn't get run. This messes up all
sorts of things, e.g. ssh-agent.

Expected Results:
If I run evolution --force-shutdown manually before logout, then all
processes die. Next time I log in, I do not have these problems with e.g.
ssh-agent.

How often does this happen?
Every logout unless I use --force-shutdown
